This section discusses the database configuration required
if you plan to use SQL Server to store the database used by your
AssetWise datasource / community.
It is assumed that you have already installed a supported
version of Microsoft SQL Server. This version of
AssetWise supports:
- Microsoft SQL Server 2019
CU2 or higher (latest version is recommended)
- Microsoft SQL Server 2016
SP2
- Microsoft Azure SQL
Database (for hosted solutions)
Note: AssetWise requires that SQL Server runs in
SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode (mixed
mode). The authentication mode is set during installation, but you can also
change it after installation. See
